Website privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

This policy covers the public website kiqi.co.uk only. How we use client information is set out in our client privacy notice.

Who we are

KiQi LTD (company number 12935261), trading as KiQi Chartered Certified Accountants, KiQi House, 1 Trinity Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 5SL. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us at contact@kiqi.co.uk or on 01782 431995.

What we collect

  • When you send the contact form or contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp: your name, contact details and what you tell us, so we can reply.
  • Website statistics: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are and what device you use. We cannot identify you from this. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. Logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Information you give us through the client portal at sign.kiqi.co.uk is covered by the client privacy notice.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to take steps before entering into a contract with you (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); to understand how the website is used, with your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); and to keep the website secure (our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 12 months. Analytics data is kept by Google for 14 months.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with providers who help us run the website, email and analytics (including Google), under contract, and where the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use or ask us to restrict it, and withdraw consent to analytics at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
